    problem as a technical founder (or rather someone with an interest in being one), business people have an idea and think “all I need is someone to build this real quick”. They often have no understanding or respect for how long it actually takes to build something. Secondly, they don’t seem to understand that not all technical people are going to have an interest in their problem space. Lastly most of those types I meet don’t actually seem to have anything to bring to the table, money, customers, sales experience, etc. They seem to be relying on the technical person to carry the weight of their mediocre idea that usually doesn’t even have a concrete plan for making money (build it and they will come).
